Slow Sink uses a channel through the mouth and descends very slowly, allowing glides with twitches and pulls. The heavier version gives the family's deeper Moderate Sink presentation with a water-moving S-curve action. Choose the lighter version for slower glides and the heavier version for a deeper presentation, checking the selected variant's stated depth where available.
The range has 18 cm lures at 80 g or 86 g, 25 cm lures at 206 g or 216 g, and 32 cm lures at 420 g or 445 g. The larger versions offer a bigger baitfish profile but also substantially more weight. Match your tackle to the chosen weight before deciding on size.
Yes, the Line Thru system has a freely swinging treble outside the body. The Little Line Thru Modifier allows conversion to two trebles. This is an optional setup change, not a statement that two trebles are supplied. Size #1 is stated for the 18 cm versions, while larger variants should be checked individually.
It is described for both casting and trolling for pike. Its high-backed, roach-shaped body swims in S-curves and moves sideways on retrieve stops. Choose the size and sink rate for the presentation you want, with tackle capable of handling the selected lure weight.
No, the available colours differ by size and sink rate. The 18 cm lures are specified as unscented, while some larger variants are specified as scented and others have no scent information. Select the colour, size and weight together, then check that variant's attributes rather than assuming a family-wide scent treatment.
The lure combines a hard foam core with a soft outer body, so the inner structure supports the baitfish profile while the exterior remains flexible. The protective clamshell packaging is reusable, giving you a supplied storage option between trips.

The Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Roach is a soft-bodied swimbait for freshwater pike fishing. Its shape is based on a 3D scan of a real roach, with 4D colours and a high-backed profile that produces an S-curve swimming action. On a retrieve stop, it cuts and slides sideways, adding a change of direction to a steady presentation. The range can be cast or trolled.
The family includes 18 cm versions at 80 g or 86 g, 25 cm versions at 206 g or 216 g, and 32 cm versions at 420 g or 445 g. The 18 cm lure is the smallest and lightest option, while the 25 cm and 32 cm versions present a larger baitfish profile and require tackle suited to their greater weight.
Slow Sink versions weigh 80 g, 206 g or 420 g according to size. Their Line Thru channel runs through the mouth, and their very slow descent allows glides produced by twitches and pulls. The heavier sinking versions weigh 86 g, 216 g or 445 g. The supplier describes the family's Moderate Sink presentation as a deeper-running, water-moving S-curve action, so sink rate is the main choice between lingering glides and a deeper presentation.
All supplied 18 cm depth specifications are 1–4 m. The 25 cm Slow Sink variants are specified at 1–1.5 m, and the 32 cm Slow Sink variants at 1–2 m. Among heavier versions, the 25 cm Albino Roach and Silver Bream Ghost are specified at 1–3 m, and the 32 cm Roach, Albino Roach and Silver Bream Ghost at 1.5–3 m. Not every variant has a stated running-depth range, so use the individual specifications rather than assuming identical depths across colours.
The treble swings freely outside the body at its broadest point. This arrangement is designed to improve hook-ups and reduce lost fish. The Little Line Thru Modifier allows conversion to a two-treble setup, giving an alternative to the supplied swinging treble. The hooks are SGY 1X BN, with size #1 stated for the 18 cm lures. Individual supplier specifications also list 2/0 or 4/0 on some larger variants, so check the selected variant for its stated hook size.
A hard foam core supports the soft outer body, combining a structured baitfish profile with a flexible exterior. Colour options across the family include Roach, Albino Roach, Bream, Silver Bream Ghost, Roach Ghost, Golden Ambulance, Lemon Roach, Firetiger and Perch. Availability differs by size and sink rate. These are colour choices within a roach-shaped lure, not different lure shapes.
The 18 cm versions are specified as unscented. Some 25 cm and 32 cm variants are specified as scented, while others have no scent specification. Lead content is explicitly declared for certain variants. Check the selected variant's attributes for these differences.
The protective clamshell packaging is reusable, providing a storage option between fishing trips. Each variant selects the lure's size, weight, sink rate and colour rather than an assortment of different lures.
