It is designed for spin fishing with unrigged soft swimbaits. The Upside Corkscrew supports balanced lure action, and the sliding spikes let you position the stinger on the softbait body. Choose the rig dimensions and hook size to suit the lure you want to rig.
Compare rig length and treble size. Confirmed options include 9.5 cm/#1, 10 cm/#2, 11 cm/#1 or #1/0, and 13 cm/#1/0 or #2/0. All share the same wire diameter and rating. Match the length to the intended hook positions, then choose the hook size. Confirm the length separately where no measurement is listed.
The oval split ring passes over the nose of the Upside Corkscrew and locks in place. It is designed for easy changes, so you can change the attachment at this connection rather than treating it as a fixed joint.
The 23 kg rating is the stated breaking strain of the 0.70 mm Carbon49 wire, not a rating for the hooks or the weight of fish you can land. Each pack contains two stinger systems in the selected version, so you receive two rigs with the same specifications.

The Savage Gear Spinning Stinger is a corkscrew rig system for spin fishing with unrigged soft swimbaits. Its Upside Corkscrew gives the soft lure a balanced swimming action, while the stinger carries the treble hooks on Carbon49 wire.
The easy-change oval split ring passes over the corkscrew nose and locks in place, making the attachment straightforward to change. Sliding stinger spikes let you adjust the hook positions on the softbait body. The double swivel spin function allows the stinger to rotate, and sharp SGY trebles provide the hook points. The trebles have a BN (black nickel) finish.
Every version uses 0.70 mm Carbon49 wire with a stated breaking strain of 23 kg. This is the wire rating, not a hook-strength or fish-weight rating. The supplier lists all water types, so the range is not restricted to freshwater use.
The variants differ in rig length and treble size. Confirmed combinations are 9.5 cm with size #1, 10 cm with #2, 11 cm with #1 or #1/0, and 13 cm with #1/0 or #2/0. Other versions have #2, #2/0 or #3/0 trebles without a confirmed length here. Use the listed rig length and hook size to match the softbait body and intended hook positions. At the same length, the hook size is the deciding difference. For a version without a listed length, confirm that measurement before selecting it for a particular lure.
Each pack contains two Spinning Stinger systems in the selected version, for rigging your own soft swimbaits.
