It is intended for perch, pike and zander lure fishing on lakes, canals and river mouths, including banks with plenty of structure. The supplier specifies twitching, slow jigging and fast retrieves when jerking, so it covers varied lure presentations rather than a single technique.
The 7.3:1 gearing provides fast line pickup, useful for changing retrieve speeds and reacting quickly during lure work. It supports fast retrieves when jerking as well as the supplier's stated slower jigging use, with the pace controlled by your handle speed.
The finely adjustable drag lets you regulate resistance during the fight, and distinct clicks in the brake adjustment knob help you feel setting changes. The compact body and ergonomic left-hand handle aid comfort during longer sessions. The reel weighs 224 g and has an 8+1 bearing arrangement for comparison with other setups.
