You retrieve with your left hand. This is the Left Handle version, so choose it if you want the handle on the left rather than on the right.
The 8.1:1 ratio provides a fast retrieve, which helps when working action lures and taking up line quickly. Retrieve per turn is not specified, so the ratio alone does not tell you how many centimetres of line each handle turn recovers.
It is intended for active lure fishing for perch, pike and zander in rivers and large lakes. The supplier names jigging and short handle-turn presentations with pauses, so it suits both rod-led jigging and reel-led lure work.
Use the finely adjustable drag to regulate line release during a run. That adjustment is the relevant feature for managing the fight, while the 8.1:1 gear ratio serves fast retrieving. A maximum drag rating is not supplied.

The Spro Jc Elite Xg Left Gr is a left-hand baitcasting reel for active lure fishing for perch, pike and zander. Its 8.1:1 gear ratio provides a fast retrieve for working action lures and picking up line between presentations. It is intended for rivers and large lakes, including short casts along the bank and fishing at greater distances.
The finely tuned gearing supports smooth casting and retrieving, with a bearing specification of 8+1. The supplier identifies jigging and working lures with short turns of the handle followed by pauses as suitable techniques, giving you a choice between rod-led and reel-led presentations.
The handle is on the left, so this version suits anglers who retrieve with their left hand. The reel weighs 224 g and combines a compact, balanced design with an ergonomic handle for comfortable handling during repeated casts and retrieves.
The finely adjustable drag lets you control line release when a fish runs. Fine adjustment helps you manage strong runs from perch, pike and zander.
