Balzer Trout Attack Bodentaster
incl. VAT, excl.
The Balzer Trout Attack Bodentaster (bottom taster) is a cleverly designed running sinker that anchors your bait on the lakebed while keeping the line completely free-running — ideal for trout fishing in ponds and stillwaters.
A small ball weight settles flat on the bottom while the wooden stem stands upright in the water column. This upright position keeps buoyant or pop-up style baits presented naturally above the lakebed, right in the trout's feeding zone, without tangling or dragging.
The metal eye at the top of the stem allows the main line to slide through without resistance. When a trout takes the bait and pulls line, it feels no unnatural tension from the sinker — reducing the chance of the fish dropping the bait before you can strike.
All variants of the Balzer Trout Attack Bodentaster share the same wood-and-metal construction. The range covers several weights to match different water depths, casting distances, and current conditions. Select a lighter weight for shallow ponds with calm water, and a heavier option for deeper lakes or when you need extra casting distance.
Balzer Trout Attack Bodentaster — current variant (Holz, Metall / Wood, Metal): the core sinker in your chosen weight, suited to general trout pond and stillwater bottom rigs with buoyant or slow-sinking baits
Other variants: same design available in additional weight steps — choose heavier for greater depth or casting range, lighter for shallow or calm stillwaters
