The inline (in-line running guide) construction features a Seaguide entry ring and trumpet ring that channel the line centrally through the blank. IM-12 Carbon Blank with Carbon Tape Reinforcement

The unground blank is built from Japanese IM-12 high-modulus carbon fibre and wrapped with carbon tape, resulting in exceptional tensile strength and resistance to twisting under heavy loads. The FUJI reel seat and underwound FUJI Alconite guides add further reliability, while the shrink-rubber grip delivers a secure, non-slip hold even when wet or fatigued after long fights.
