Balzer 71 North Ultra Heavy Pilk 2,40m 150-500g - Pilkrute
incl. VAT, excl.
The Balzer 71 North Ultra Heavy Pilk is a purpose-built offshore spinning rod designed for serious deep-sea angling with heavy pirks (pilks) and large fixed-spool reels — where backbone and sensitivity need to coexist.
Constructed from IM-12 Nano Carbon — a blank reinforced with carbon nanotubes — this rod delivers exceptional rigidity and responsiveness. The advanced material keeps weight low at just 268 g while ensuring reliable power transfer and bite detection even when working heavy lures at depth.
Full Fuji ring set ensures smooth, even line flow through every guide, reducing friction and protecting your line under load. The robust Fuji reel seat holds a fixed-spool reel firmly in place during the most demanding fights, while the precision-fitted two-piece joint maintains a consistent, even bend curve and efficient force transmission throughout the blank.
This rod is the sole variant in the Balzer 71 North Ultra Heavy Pilk lineup currently available.
