The W8 Sbass features Torayca T1100GC high-performance carbon construction combined with Fuji T2C carbon reel seat and SIC guides, providing the strength and responsiveness needed for casting hard and soft lures in challenging saltwater conditions.
The M variant (260cm, 9-35g casting weight) is lighter (131g) and suited for lighter presentations and moderate distance casting. The MH variant (285cm, 12-42g casting weight) is heavier (160g) and provides more power for larger lures and extended casting distance.
Both models feature 2-piece construction with moderate-fast action, Torayca T1100GC blank material, Fuji T2C carbon reel seat, tangle-free Fuji SIC guides, and include a screw-down carbon hood and Seaguide arc hook keeper. Each rod comes with a recyclable cardboard box and neoprene rod bag with a unique serial number.
While specifically designed for saltwater seabass fishing, the W8 Sbass can be used for freshwater bass fishing due to its versatile design. However, it excels in saltwater applications where its carbon construction and quality Fuji components provide superior corrosion resistance and durability.
Rinse the rod with fresh water after each saltwater use to prevent corrosion and salt accumulation. Dry thoroughly before storing. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Periodically inspect the guides, connections, and carbon hood for any signs of wear or damage. Store in the provided rod bag or a protective case.
