The 260 cm M version covers 9–35 g and weighs 127 g. It is the shorter, lighter option for the lower lure-weight range. The 285 cm MH version covers 12–42 g and weighs 160 g, offering extra length and a higher casting-weight ceiling at the cost of more weight. Both have two sections. Transport lengths are 142 cm and 155 cm respectively.
Westin recommends a 3000–4000 spinning reel. The Fuji® T2C carbon reel seat and 360° custom-designed screw-down carbon hood secure the reel. Tangle-free Fuji® SIC guides reduce line tangles during casting. A Seaguide® arc hook 2.5 keeper provides a place to park the hook between casts.
The blank has an FE2O3 iron oxide colour, and each rod carries a unique serial number. A neoprene rod bag is included for transport and storage. The rod is delivered in a recyclable triangular cardboard box.
