It is leader material for predator lure fishing, not a finished leader rig. The clear, 100% fluorocarbon line comes in 20–50 m lengths for making your own leaders. The 1.05 mm and 1.20 mm versions are explicitly described for softbaits and hardbaits.

Westin W6 ST3 Fluorocarbon is clear, 100% fluorocarbon leader material for predator lure fishing. Its lower refractive index makes it significantly less visible underwater than monofilament line, helping keep the leader unobtrusive around the lure. The range combines medium stiffness with high impact, tensile and knot strength.
The line sinks quickly, bringing the leader into the strike zone sooner when fishing below the surface. Abrasion resistance helps it withstand wear from contact during fishing, while high knot strength supports secure leader connections. These properties apply throughout the range, not just to the thicker versions.
Westin rates fluorocarbon suppleness from ST1 to ST5. ST1 is the stiffest end of the scale and ST5 the most flexible. W6 ST3 has medium stiffness, so choose it when you want the middle rating rather than either extreme.
