The Westin W6-BC baitcasting reels combine a one-piece aluminium frame with an internal six-shoe centrifugal casting brake (CBS6) for stable handling and spool control during casting. The W6 series covers predator fishing with light softbaits and crankbaits through to medium and heavy softbaits and jerkbaits. Westin names pike, bass, zander, perch and trout as target species across the series. These SSG models are offered in Stealth Gold.
The 51 SSG LH and 101 SSG LH are left-hand retrieve models suited to light and medium-weight softbaits and hardbaits. Both have a 6.6:1 gear ratio, retrieve 66 cm per turn and provide 11 kg of drag. The 51 weighs 172 g and holds 120 m of 0.25 mm line. The 101 weighs 175 g and holds 135 m of 0.285 mm line, giving more capacity at a thicker stated diameter for just 3 g more reel weight.
The 300 SSG RH and 301 SSG LH weigh 245 g each and hold 230 m of 0.30 mm line.
