The Westin W4 SSG baitcasting reel series is built for anglers who want a compact, solid reel with consistent casting control. With an internal centrifugal brake and tuned gear ratios, the range covers lighter lure work as well as heavier predator presentations.
The W4 SSG series uses a rigid one-piece aluminium frame, with carbon sideplate construction on the smaller sizes and a full aluminium frame on size 301. That gives the reels a stable feel under load and dependable alignment during frequent casting.
A 6-shoe centrifugal brake, sealed stainless ball bearings and Westin's Fast Line Connector on the spool are designed to keep setup practical and operation smooth. Non-slip rubber handle knobs and a CNC handle help maintain control in wet or cold conditions.
Size 51 and 101 suit lighter lure fishing where low weight and compact handling matter most. Size 301 adds more line capacity, higher drag and a stronger frame for larger soft lures, hardbaits and heavier predator work.
