Built around a one-piece aluminium frame paired with a carbon side plate, the W4-BC 50 delivers the rigidity needed to handle hard-fighting fish session after session. The stainless steel drive shaft resists corrosion, while the GT-B gear system and multi-stack drag ensure smooth, consistent power transfer. Seven ball bearings plus one roller bearing keep operation fluid under load.

Intelligent Brake and Line Management

The internal 6-shoe centrifugal brake system (CBS6) lets you fine-tune casting control to match lure weight and wind conditions, minimising backlash without killing distance. A patented Fast Line Connector on the spool makes rigging faster on the water, while the Stay-On side plate and Stay-On tension knob keep settings locked in between casts. The brake clicker gives audible feedback when adjusting drag. Non-slip rubber grips and a CNC-machined handle complete the ergonomic package.
