It is designed for deep-diving crankbaits, swimbaits and A-rigs in freshwater. The 5.4:1 ratio, 58 cm retrieve per turn and 95 mm handle favour a controlled retrieve under load rather than rapid line pickup.
The LP-L has a left-hand retrieve. Choose this version if you want to turn the handle with your left hand. Its 218 g weight is also relevant when balancing your casting setup.
Monofilament capacity is 200 m at 0.29 mm, 165 m at 0.32 mm or 115 m at 0.38 mm. Braid capacity is listed as 215 m at 0.29 mm, 160 m at 0.36 mm or 115 m at 0.41 mm. Match your chosen diameter to the corresponding capacity when buying line.
Neither is included. The aluminium spool is not pre-spooled and there is no spare spool, so you need to add your chosen line before use and cannot rely on an included second spool for line changes.
An adjustable centrifugal brake controls the spool during casting. The separate Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System has star adjustment and a maximum drag of 11.3 kg, so casting control and fish-fighting resistance are adjusted for different tasks.

The fifth-generation Revo Winch is a low-profile baitcasting reel for freshwater lure fishing. Its 5.4:1 Winch Gear Ratio and 58 cm retrieve per handle turn suit deep-diving crankbaits, swimbaits and A-rigs (Alabama rigs). The slower gearing and 95 mm handle provide leverage when retrieving these lures under load.
The EXD concept design is intended to support casting performance, while an adjustable centrifugal braking system controls the spool during the cast. The asymmetrical body and X2-Cräftic™ alloy frame and sideplate combine a compact grip with a balance of weight and strength. This LP-L version has a left-hand retrieve and weighs 218 g. Its bowed aluminium handle has oversized knobs for a secure grip.
Eight stainless steel ball bearings and one roller bearing give nine bearings in total. Instant Anti-Reverse prevents backward handle rotation. The Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System uses carbon-fibre drag material with star adjustment and a maximum drag of 11.3 kg, allowing resistance to be set for the line and fishing setup.
