While smaller W4-BC models use an aluminium frame with carbon sideplates, the size 300 is built with a fully aluminium frame and sideplate construction. This extra rigidity keeps the spool and gears in perfect alignment under load — essential when working large jerkbaits, big softbaits, or fighting hard-running pike and zander.

Smooth, Controllable Braking with CBS6

The internal 6-shoe centrifugal brake system (CBS6) lets you fine-tune cast control without opening the sideplate. Paired with the Stay-On tension knob and a drag clicker on the Multi Teflon Stack drag, you get consistent, repeatable adjustments whether you're targeting open-water zander or casting heavyweights at pike in thick cover. The Fast Line Connector on the spool makes rigging quick and secure.
