W10 Coastal is available in two spool lengths: 150m and 1500m. Each spool length comes in six diameter options from 0.08mm to 0.205mm, providing six breaking strengths from 5.8kg to 13.2kg for different fishing situations and target species.
The 150m variants are ideal for mobile sea trout anglers who prefer lighter tackle and frequent gear changes. The 1500m variants suit dedicated anglers who fish intensively from fixed locations and need extended casting range. Choose the diameter based on target fish size and water conditions: lighter lines (0.08–0.10mm) for clear water and smaller trout, heavier lines (0.165–0.205mm) for strong currents and large sea trout.
The Advanced Ultra High PIC construction uses 56 weaves per inch, compared to standard braided lines. This tighter weave creates an exceptionally smooth surface that reduces friction in rod guides, enabling longer and more accurate casts. The smoother surface also provides better bite detection and improved casting feel.
Sea trout and saltwater anglers face frequent wind knots when casting into strong onshore winds. The Double Dura-Coating makes the line stiffer and less prone to loops and tangles. The hydrophobic coating also repels water, reducing absorption that can make lines more flexible and prone to knotting in wet conditions.
