Yes. It is a braided main line developed for sea trout and saltwater fishing, with spinning use also stated by the supplier. Its smooth surface supports distance casting, and Double Dura-Coating adds stiffness for fewer wind knots in onshore winds. Choose the diameter and breaking strain to suit your setup.
The combinations are 0.08 mm/5.8 kg (PE 0.2), 0.10 mm/6.0 kg (PE 0.4), 0.128 mm/7.3 kg (PE 0.6), 0.148 mm/8.7 kg (PE 0.8), 0.165 mm/10.8 kg (PE 1.0) and 0.205 mm/13.2 kg (PE 1.5). The stated strength rises with diameter, so compare both figures with your setup's requirements before selecting a spool length.
Choose by the amount of line you need. Both lengths offer the same six diameter and strength combinations, MORNING MIST colour and coated 13X construction. The 1500 m spool gives ten times the line for several fills, while 150 m is the smaller quantity. Check your reel capacity at the chosen diameter to determine how much you need.
No knot-free guarantee is stated. The coating makes the line more rigid to reduce wind knots during repeated casting into coastal winds. Its hydrophobic surface also reduces water absorption and friction, making this construction relevant if windy casting conditions are a priority.

Westin W10 13-BRAID COASTAL is a braided main line developed for sea trout and saltwater fishing in demanding conditions. It is also suitable for spinning with artificial lures. Double Dura-Coating adds stiffness to reduce wind knots during repeated casts into onshore winds, while the smooth surface reduces friction for longer, more accurate casting.
Premium Japanese ultra high molecular polyethylene (UHMPE) fibres form the 13X (12+1) construction. Twelve carriers are woven tightly around a central CORE carrier, creating a uniformly round profile with greater strength than an 8X braid. The construction combines high knot strength and abrasion resistance, useful when a coastal main line faces repeated casting and wear.
Advanced Ultra High PIC construction uses 56 weaves per inch. This tight weave increases abrasion resistance and creates a smooth surface that passes through the rod guides with less resistance.
Double Dura-Coating gives the braid extra rigidity to help reduce wind knots, rather than promising knot-free casting. Its hydrophobic gel-coated surface reduces water absorption and friction. These properties matter when casting repeatedly in windy coastal conditions.
All variants are MORNING MIST, a light blue colour. The line is soaked in dye tanks and oven-cured to fix the pigment, then sealed with a double gel coat for colour retention and improved longevity.
Each of the following diameter and breaking-strain combinations is available in both 150 m and 1500 m spool lengths, with the same construction, coating and colour.
| Diameter | Breaking strain | PE rating | | --- | --- | --- | | 0.08 mm | 5.8 kg | PE 0.2 | | 0.10 mm | 6.0 kg | PE 0.4 | | 0.128 mm | 7.3 kg | PE 0.6 | | 0.148 mm | 8.7 kg | PE 0.8 | | 0.165 mm | 10.8 kg | PE 1.0 | | 0.205 mm | 13.2 kg | PE 1.5 |
The finer options provide a smaller diameter, while the thicker options increase the stated breaking strain. Choose the diameter and strength for your setup rather than treating every version as interchangeable. PE ratings provide a further way to identify the specification.
Choose 150 m when that quantity meets the reel's required fill length. The 1500 m version supplies ten times as much line for repeated fills or several reels, with the number of fills depending on reel capacity. Check capacity for the selected diameter before choosing the spool length.
