The H-Skruen (H-Screw) is a Danish coastal classic that has tempted sea trout for many years. This 20g / 7.6cm version in Clown delivers the same irresistible action with enough weight for longer casts and deeper retrieves.
The H-Skruen's signature move is its tight rotation around its own axis at the moment of a spin-stop. That sudden, helpless spin is exactly what a sea trout finds hard to ignore — keep the line taut during the pause and you will feel most bites right there. Even at a steady retrieve the lure tracks smoothly and realistically through the water column.
The Clown pattern features hand-painted, detailed colouring that stands out in varied light and water conditions. The lure ships rigged with either a Rigged Trout treblehook (#8) for maximum hooking surface or a Rigged Seatrout singlehook (#2) when regulations or personal preference call for it. A fluorocarbon leader of ø0.4 mm is recommended to keep the presentation subtle.
