First crafted in 2015 by Tommy's Bait and now available worldwide through Westin, the Original Perch 15cm/34g is a hand-painted soft swimbait built around one of predatory fish's most abundant food sources: the perch. At this size and weight, it covers ground where trophy pike, zander, and large perch are actively hunting.
The reversed paddle tail is the Original Perch's defining feature. Its upward angle generates a wide, rolling kick that stays active even at slow retrieves and continues to pulse during the free-fall when you pause. This makes it equally effective on a steady wind-in, a sink-and-draw, or a lightly erratic retrieve — keeping the lure in the strike zone longer.
Every Original Perch is hand-painted with detailed eyes and layered colour, and the body features external fins that sharpen the perch silhouette. The T Perch colour replicates the natural barred flanks of a juvenile perch — one of the most recognisable and effective forage patterns in European freshwater fishing.
