Westin Great Heron 5,5cm 13g - Meerforellenköder
incl. VAT, excl.
When sea trout are keying in on smaller prey, the Westin Great Heron in Chickenpox gives you a compact, highly active spoon that fits right in the feeding window — and it works equally well on perch, asp, and pike in freshwater.
The Great Heron produces an intense, lively wobbling motion whether you're cranking fast or crawling it back slow. That consistent action means you can vary your retrieve to match the mood of the fish without ever sacrificing lure movement — a real advantage when sea trout are being finicky near the surf.
Two split rings are mounted in front of the treble hook at the tail. This articulated connection lets the hook work independently of the spoon body during the fight, significantly reducing the lever effect that causes fish to shake free. The carbon steel size 6 treble is sharp out of the box and rated for the demands of saltwater spinning.
The Great Heron is available in three weight/length classes and a wide range of colours to cover different conditions, species, and casting distances:
13g / 5.5cm (e.g. Chickenpox) — compact profile for sea trout feeding on small baitfish, light surf, shallow coastal zones; also ideal for perch and asp in rivers and lakes
18g / 6.5cm — versatile mid-range option for moderate current and open coastal water; suits sea trout, pike, and perch
18g / 7.5cm — longer profile for bigger presentation; suited to sea trout in stronger currents or when targeting larger pike
22g / 8.5cm — maximum casting weight for distance work in wind or deeper water; pike and larger sea trout
