The Westin Carolina Perch Rig Kit is a fully pre-tied Carolina Rig (a bottom-contact presentation rig that separates the weight from the lure on a fluorocarbon leader) built from Westin's own best-selling components. Unpack, tie on, and fish — two complete rigs are wound onto a reusable EVA spool.

Built-In Fluorocarbon Leader for Natural Presentation

Each rig runs a 70 cm W6 ST3 fluorocarbon leader at 0.26 mm — near-invisible to wary perch — paired with a 30 cm fluorocarbon section at 0.343 mm for added abrasion resistance closer to the bullet weight. The low-visibility material lets the 6.5 cm CreCraw soft lure move freely and naturally, well away from the sinker.

Sharp Hooks and Quality Terminal Tackle Throughout

Every kit includes two #2 Black Nickel Offset EWG (Extra Wide Gap) hooks for secure hooksets through soft plastic, four #12 rolling swivels to prevent line twist, and 6 mm UV fluorescent plastic beads that cushion the weight and add a subtle trigger point above the hook. The 14 g black matt bullet weight cuts through current and reaches depth efficiently — well suited to deeper swims, faster water, or fishing at range from the bank or boat.
