The Westin Long-Cast Rig is built for deadbait fishing where precise, safe long casting makes the difference. This Medium size rig pairs twin treble hooks in #6+#6 with a 65 cm trace of 7-strand steel wire (1×7) rated at 14 kg / 30 lbs.
Both treble hooks are secured with a unique loop fixing that holds your deadbait firmly in a natural position throughout the cast and retrieve. The twin-treble arrangement gives broad hook coverage along the bait, improving hook-up ratios when predators strike short or sideways.
The 65 cm trace is constructed from supple 30 lbs 1×7 seven-strand steel wire, offering reliable bite resistance without the stiffness of coated alternatives. Stealthy camo crimp sleeves blend with the trace, reducing visible hardware in clear or heavily fished waters where pressured fish are more cautious.
