It is designed for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and bladed jigs or chatterbaits. The large eye fits over the existing lure hook, and the Cross Over Cap™ silicone sleeve makes rigging quick. Choose the hook size to suit that lure and its hook.
The hook size changes from 1/0 through 2/0 and 3/0 to 4/0. Each has the same Needle Sharp™ point, Cross Over Cap™, Technical Locking Curve™ shape, 2X Strong designation and Black Nickel finish, so select by the fit on your lure. Sizes 3/0 and 4/0 each come in packs of five.
Handle them carefully with pliers because the points are sharp, then secure them in a dry hook box out of children's reach. Inspect for bends, damaged points and rust before use, and replace damaged hooks rather than continuing to fish with them.

The VMC Techset Trailer 7226TL is a single trailer hook for spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and bladed jigs, also called chatterbaits. Its Cross Over Cap™ silicone sleeve simplifies fitting an additional hook to your lure, while the large eye allows mounting over the lure's existing hook.
The Needle Sharp™ point provides the sharpness for hook penetration. The hook has a Technical Locking Curve™ shape and a 2X Strong designation. Its Black Nickel coating gives an unobtrusive finish when an extra hook is added to the lure.
The line offers sizes 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 and 4/0. Select the size to suit the lure and its existing hook rather than treating all four as interchangeable. All sizes share the same point, mounting sleeve, hook shape, strength designation and finish. Sizes 3/0 and 4/0 each contain five hooks per pack.
Use pliers when handling the sharp hooks and keep them secured in a hook box when not in use. Check for damaged points, bends or rust before fishing, and do not use damaged hooks. Store dry, keep away from children and check that the casting area is clear of people and animals.
