Yes, it is designed for both methods. It darts sideways on the drop, kicks on a fast retrieve and rotates slowly with flashes when paused. You can change presentation without changing lures. Every size is sinking, with a listed swimming depth of 1–2 m.
Choose 7.7 cm / 28 g with a size 4 hook, 8.3 cm / 35 g or 9 cm / 45 g with a size 3 hook, or 9.8 cm / 60 g with a size 2 hook. Moving up increases the baitfish profile and casting load. Match the weight to your tackle. All sizes offer the same five colours, so you can change colour without changing those specifications.
Each pack contains one lure in the chosen variant, fitted with one strong saltwater treble hook. The double split ring adds a joint that helps reduce the chance of a fish shaking the hook free. You receive a hooked lure rather than a bare jig body or a set of colours.
It is intended for saltwater predators including sea bass, sea trout, bonito, bluefish, salmon, cod and pollack. The sprat imitation uses movement and flash, with no added scent. It contains lead, so it is not a lead-free option if that is a requirement for your fishing.

The Savage Gear Psycho Sprat is a sinking metal jig that imitates a sprat for saltwater lure fishing. Its long-casting design helps reach distant fish, while the body cuts quickly through the water and darts away from the centreline as it drops during jigging. It is suitable for sea bass, sea trout, bonito, bluefish, salmon, cod and pollack.
Use the same lure for jigging or a steady retrieve. A fast retrieve produces a kicking action. On a pause, the body rotates slowly to the sides and flashes, adding a visual trigger between retrieves. The supplier lists a swimming depth of 1–2 m for every size. All versions are sinking and unscented, so their presentation relies on movement and flash rather than added scent.
A strong finish and saltwater-resistant components suit repeated use at sea. Each lure comes with one strong saltwater treble hook. The double split ring adds a joint between the lure and hook, helping reduce the chance of a fish shaking the hook free during the fight. The lure contains lead.
The range has four size and weight combinations: 7.7 cm / 28 g with a size 4 hook, 8.3 cm / 35 g with a size 3 hook, 9 cm / 45 g with a size 3 hook, and 9.8 cm / 60 g with a size 2 hook. The 28 g version offers the smallest sprat profile and lowest casting load. The 35 g and 45 g versions increase both length and weight, while the 60 g version is the largest and heaviest. Choose the profile you want to present and match the lure weight to your tackle's casting range. All four share the same retrieve options and listed swimming depth.
Each size is available in Psycho Ayu, Psycho Sardine, Psycho Sayoris, Psycho Punch and Psycho Snowflake. Colour changes the finish without changing the listed size, weight or hook size within a size group. Each pack contains one lure in the selected variant, not a colour assortment.
