The 8.3 cm / 35 g and 9 cm / 45 g are good all-round picks for shore-caught sea bass. Drop to 7.7 cm / 28 g when fish are taking smaller bait or in calm conditions, and move up to 9.8 cm / 60 g in headwind or strong current.
Yes. The long-cast profile also jigs well vertically; the 45 g and 60 g models are the natural choice from a drifting or anchored boat, while the 28 g and 35 g can be cast from the deck in shallower water.
Natural patterns — Psycho Ayu, Psycho Sardine and Psycho Sayoris — are the first choice in clear water. Psycho Punch stands out when light is low or water is stained, and Psycho Snowflake works well at dusk, dawn and in coloured water.
As a sinking jig, the Psycho Sprat fishes the 1–2 m layer on a steady retrieve. Counting down the lure before the retrieve lets you reach deeper water; a faster retrieve keeps it higher in the column.
Yes. Each lure ships pre-rigged with a saltwater-grade treble hook and the double split-ring system — just clip it to your leader.
A steady medium retrieve brings out the kicking and rolling action; adding brief pauses lets the body rotate slowly to the side on the drop, which often triggers follows to strike.

The Psycho Sprat Sinking is a sprat-profiled metal jig (Pilker) built for shore and boat spinning in salt water. Its erratic kicking action and slow side-rotation on the pause trigger strikes from sea bass, sea trout, bonito, salmon, cod, pollack and more.
The slim, heavy body cuts quickly through wind and chop for extreme casting distance. On the drop and during jigging, the lure darts away from the centreline; on a steady retrieve it kicks and rolls, then rotates slowly sideways on each spin-stop — an unpredictable movement that draws predators in from a distance.
Each jig is rigged with a saltwater-grade treble hook and a double split-ring that forms an extra joint, which reduces the chance of a fish shaking the hook during the fight. The Super Strong finish holds up to repeated contact with rocks, pebbles and tough mouths.
Four profiles cover most coastal situations — 7.7 cm / 28 g, 8.3 cm / 35 g, 9 cm / 45 g and 9.8 cm / 60 g — matched to hook sizes 4, 3, 3 and 2 respectively. Five finishes run from natural baitfish patterns (Psycho Ayu, Psycho Sardine, Psycho Sayoris) to higher-contrast options (Psycho Punch) and a bright Psycho Snowflake for low-light or stained water.
On a standard retrieve the Psycho Sprat works the 1–2 m layer, with the option to count down for deeper water or to fish it higher with a faster retrieve.
