The Savage Gear Deviator Tail SS (Slow Sinking) is a highly versatile hybrid lure built on the proven Deviator platform, designed for targeting pike in freshwater environments.
Each Deviator Tail SS comes with two scented interchangeable tails – a paddle tail for a superb kicking, frantic action and a mini curl tail for a crazy gliding movement. The unique Cross Jaw Lock Tail system holds the tails securely in place while allowing fast and easy swaps.
Two different tie points let you work the lure from super shallow to medium depth. The 16.5 cm model runs at 0.5–1.5 m, while the 20 cm model covers 0.5–2 m. You can also mount the tail up or down to change the working depth and movement pattern entirely.
An integrated long cast system turns the Deviator Tail SS into an effective search bait, enabling you to cover large areas of water quickly.
Realistic photo-printed finishes across eight colour options ensure lifelike appearance underwater. A built-in rattle adds acoustic attraction. Available in two sizes – 16.5 cm at 48 g and 20 cm at 87 g – each fitted with two SGY 1X BN treble hooks (size #1 on the 16.5 cm, size #1/0 on the 20 cm).
