Both versions are designed for jigging, light jigging, shore jigging and cast jigging. Sea fishing is explicitly supported, and the supplier lists all water types, so choose the hook size and configuration for your jig rather than a different version for each of these techniques.
Single provides one hook per assist, with four assists per pack in sizes 1/0, 2/0, 3/0 or 4/0. Double AS provides an asymmetric two-hook arrangement, with two double-assist assemblies per pack in 1/0, 2/0 or 3/0. Choose by the hook arrangement your setup requires, noting that 4/0 is only available as Single here.
The epoxy-coated full shank wrapping prevents jig scratching and improves hook position, strength and setting. The fluorocarbon core keeps the red PE cord straight and ready to hook. Both versions have these features, so protection and cord construction do not change when you switch configurations.

Savage Gear Bloody Assist Hook J cord-mounted assist hooks are designed for jigging, light jigging, shore jigging and cast jigging. Their forged Japanese XC75 carbon steel combines low weight with strength, while the aggressive hook angle and cutting point help penetrate hard fish jaws, including those of snappers.
