The Bloody Assist Hook J series is built for saltwater jigging where sharp penetration, stable hook position, and durable materials matter. Savage Gear uses lightweight Japanese carbon steel, a stiff cord with fluorocarbon core, and full wrapping that helps protect the jig body during repeated use.
These assist hooks are made for jigging, light jigging, shore jigging, and cast jigging. The aggressive J-hook shape and sharp cutting point are designed to bite quickly, even when targeting hard-mouthed sea fish.
The hooks are forged from Japanese XC75 carbon steel, which gives a good balance of strength and low weight. That helps keep the presentation clean while still offering the durability needed for demanding saltwater sessions.
Each hook is snelled on a red assist cord with a fluorocarbon core, so the cord stays straighter and ready to set. The wrapped shank also helps reduce scratching on metal jigs and supports a neat hook position.
Within the series you can choose between single and double asymmetric versions, as well as different hook sizes. This makes it easier to match the hook setup to your jig size, target species, and preferred rigging style.
