Standard cranking works well, but the Rippin' Rap excels with active ripping — sharp upward rod jerks followed by a pause to let it flutter down. The BB rattle combined with hard vibrations triggers aggressive strikes. Vary speed and pauses to find active fish.
The variable running depth makes it adaptable from shallow flats (1m+) to mid-depth zones (3.5m+) depending on retrieval speed and line type. Effective in clear and slightly turbid water. The BB rattle helps in low-light and murky conditions. Works in freshwater lakes and rivers.
