The Penn Spinfisher VII Live Liner is a fixed-spool reel for saltwater bait fishing, including live baiting, and freshwater free-spool techniques. Its Live Liner function lets fish take line before you engage the fighting drag. IPX5 sealing on the body and spool protects the gearbox and drag system from waves and spray.
HT-100 carbon-fibre drag washers sit inside a fully sealed aluminium spool. The front drag provides the stopping power for fighting saltwater fish, with maximum drag varying by size. A full metal body and sideplate keep the CNC gear system aligned under heavy loads. CNC Gear Technology uses a brass main gear.
The 5+1 sealed stainless steel bearing system supports the mechanism, while Instant Anti-Reverse prevents backward rotation. The handle can be fitted on the right or left, so each size accommodates either retrieve hand.

The 4500LL adds 50 g but offers more line capacity at the same diameter, a longer retrieve per turn and higher maximum drag.
