The Penn Mag4 515 delivers effortless long-range casting from beaches and rocky shores with its live spindle design and external magnetic brake control.
The live spindle system lets the spool rotate completely free from drag and resistance. Combined with the finger-adjustable external magnetic brake knob, you can dial in perfect spool control mid-cast for smooth, trouble-free release and maximum distance on every throw.
CNC-machined stainless steel main and pinion gears deliver reliable power under load. The forged aluminium spool, 6+1 shielded stainless steel ball bearings, and HT-100 Versa drag washers stand up to saltwater conditions while the fast-access side plate makes gear maintenance straightforward.
