The 630 model is ideal for light presentations with 0.20 mm line, 200 m capacity, and 3 kg max drag. The 640 (0.25 mm, 240 m) suits general-purpose work. Choose 655 (0.30 mm, 325 m) or 665 (0.35 mm, 340 m) for heavier line, bigger baits, or large carp.
All four models feature a 6+1 bearing system: six main ball bearings for smooth rotor rotation, plus one roller bearing in the anti-reverse system. This configuration delivers consistent smoothness across all four sizes.
RESII (Rotor Equalization System II) is a computer-balanced rotor design that reduces wobble and distributes load evenly during rotation. This improves cast accuracy, reduces vibration, and enhances drag smoothness, critical for long-distance presentations and fighting larger fish.
The base reels include one main spool. Spare spools (graphite or aluminum) are available separately and can be quickly swapped to adjust line capacity or switch between presentations without purchasing a new reel.
The 630 and 640 models offer 5.0:1 (moderate cranking speed), while 655 has 4.5:1 (slower, higher leverage) and 665 has 4.8:1 (balanced). A lower ratio provides more leverage for heavy fish and large baits; a higher ratio retrieves line faster. Choose based on your target species and bait style.
