It is a bait-fishing reel with freespool and front drag, identified by the supplier for carp, tench, eel and pike. Freespool lets a fish take line during a bite, while the front drag controls line release in the fight. Choose the model's line capacity and drag to match your rod, line and method.
CMBF-330 weighs 232 g with 3 kg maximum drag, CMBF-340 weighs 283 g with 6 kg, CMBF-355 weighs 403 g with 9 kg, and CMBF-365 weighs 586 g with 11 kg. Capacity rises at shared line diameters as model size increases. Choose the lighter reel if its capacity meets your needs, or accept extra weight for more line and maximum drag. Ratios are 5.0:1, 5.0:1, 4.5:1 and 4.8:1 respectively, but retrieve length per turn is not supplied.
CMBF-330 holds 110 m, CMBF-340 210 m and CMBF-355 380 m of 0.30 mm line according to the primary supplier. CMBF-365 lists 390 m/0.35 mm, 300 m/0.40 mm and 185 m/0.50 mm, with no 0.30 mm capacity supplied. Use the listed diameter/length pairs to compare your intended line without assuming a capacity for an unlisted diameter.
Yes, every model includes a graphite spare spool alongside the machined, anodized aluminium main spool. The quick-release spool design allows spool changes, so you can prepare a second line setup without buying a separate spool. The spare spool is not aluminium.
No sealing specification is supplied. The graphite body is described as corrosion-resistant, and the care instructions require regular cleaning, especially after saltwater exposure. Do not treat corrosion resistance as sealing, and follow the manufacturer's cleaning and servicing instructions.

The CEYMAR BAITFEEDER family combines a freespool function for taking line during a bite with a front drag for playing fish. The supplier identifies carp, tench, eel and pike as intended species, alongside general coarse fishing. Four models let you balance reel weight, line capacity and maximum drag to suit your rod, line and fishing method.
The multi-disc drag uses oiled felt washers to control line release under load. The 2+1 bearing arrangement includes a Quick-Set anti-reverse roller bearing to prevent backward winding. A precision-machined brass pinion works with Precision Elliptical Gearing, while RESII (Rotor Equalizing System) uses a computer-balanced rotor to reduce imbalance during winding.
The machined, anodized aluminium spool has a quick-release design for spool changes. Its LCS (line control spool) design supports line control during casting, and the metal line clip provides a point for securing line. A graphite spare spool is included, allowing a second line setup to be prepared separately.
The corrosion-resistant graphite body, sideplates and rotor are paired with an anodized aluminium handle and aluminium bail arm. Lightweight ABS handle knobs provide the hand contact when winding. The main spool is aluminium, while the included spare spool is graphite, so the two spools differ in material.
The capacities below give line diameter in millimetres followed by length in metres. Choose for the line you intend to use, not simply the model number.
| Model | Weight | Gear ratio | Maximum drag | Line capacity (mm/m) | | --- | --- | --- | --- | --- | | CMBF-330 | 232 g | 5.0:1 | 3 kg | 0.20/240, 0.25/155, 0.30/110 | | CMBF-340 | 283 g | 5.0:1 | 6 kg | 0.25/300, 0.30/210, 0.35/155 | | CMBF-355 | 403 g | 4.5:1 | 9 kg | 0.30/380, 0.35/280, 0.40/215 | | CMBF-365 | 586 g | 4.8:1 | 11 kg | 0.35/390, 0.40/300, 0.50/185 |
CMBF-330 is the lightest option for a setup needing less line capacity. CMBF-340 holds more line at shared diameters and doubles the maximum drag, with a 51 g weight increase. CMBF-355 provides another capacity increase and 9 kg maximum drag at 403 g. CMBF-365 has the highest maximum drag and accommodates the thickest listed line, but is also the heaviest. The larger capacities come with extra reel weight, so check rod balance and required line length before choosing. Gear ratios differ, but line retrieve per turn is not supplied.
Use the reel only for fishing and check compatibility with your rod, line and method. Fasten it securely and inspect the drag, handle, spool and line guide before use. Do not use a damaged reel or modify it. Clean it regularly with a soft cloth, particularly after saltwater exposure, and service it according to the manufacturer's instructions. A corrosion-resistant body is not a claim of a sealed saltwater reel. Store it dry and remove the line for prolonged storage. Keep hair, clothing and fingers clear of moving parts, avoid excessive line tension, and keep small parts away from children and pets. Children should use the reel only under adult supervision.
