Precision Dual Force Drag for Maximum Control

The DFD system features multi-disc Carbonite and felt washers with a click-adjustable drag that lets you fine-tune settings during the fight. The Hydro Block seal keeps saltwater out of the drag assembly, while 20 kg of maximum drag power stops hard-running fish. A dual anti-reverse system—Quick-Set roller bearing plus ratchet—prevents backplay when you set the hook or pump against heavy resistance.

Corrosion-Resistant Engineering for Saltwater Duty

An aluminum die-cast body, sideplate, and rotor (ALC) resist saltwater corrosion thanks to the CRC coating process. Seven bearings (6HPB + 1RB) are made from stainless steel for long-term reliability. The machined brass pinion and high-density gearing (HDGII) deliver smooth cranking under load, while the carbon Mechanical Stabilizing System (MSS) maintains alignment. The machined, two-tone anodized aluminum spool holds 250 m of 0.40 mm line, and the solid aluminum bail wire withstands repeated heavy use.
