The Okuma Solterra B SLX (Size 20LB, right-hand retrieve) is a serious sea fishing multireel designed to handle everything from trolling to jigging without flinching in saltwater conditions.
The Solterra B SLX is built around a corrosion-resistant frame and side plates, reinforced with stainless steel side plate rings, main gears, pinion, and shaft. The forged aluminium spool features line indicator rings for at-a-glance capacity checks — materials chosen specifically for prolonged salt exposure.
A Carbonite braking system paired with a ratcheting drag lever lets you dial in drag settings with confidence. Two thrust bearings — part of the 5+2 bearing system — reduce handle torque by more than 50%, making sustained retrieves noticeably smoother. A silent anti-reverse and a low-profile on/off clicker with a stainless steel crossbar round out the control package. Maximum drag reaches 11.8 kg, suitable for larger pelagic and bottom species.
