The Lew's SuperDuty 300 is a size 300 baitcasting reel for big baits, heavy line and large fish. Its large-capacity spool and combined casting brakes support controlled casting, while solid brass Speed Gears and a 100 mm handle provide cranking power. Both models are black.
The machined, U-shaped 39 mm aluminium spool is double-anodized and braid-ready. It holds approximately 174 m of 14 lb (6.35 kg) mono or 137 m of 65 lb (29.48 kg) braid, giving a choice of line types for heavy setups. These capacities refer to the stated breaking strains, not line diameters.
The Multi-Setting Brake system (MSB) combines externally adjustable magnetic braking with internally adjustable centrifugal braking. This gives two ways to tune spool control for casting. The Combat Grip thumb bar provides the spool release.
