The Balzer Seewolf Knaller is a purpose-built saltwater jig designed to be fished heavy, tapping and bouncing along the seabed to trigger reaction strikes from bottom-dwelling species like wolffish (Seewolf).
The Knaller is rigged deliberately oversized in weight so it stays in contact with the seabed at all times. That persistent thumping action produces vibrations and noise that wolffish and other bottom feeders find irresistible — drawing strikes from fish that would ignore a conventional lure drifting above them.
Equipped with two hooks, the Seewolf Knaller keeps you in the game even after a missed bite or when crabs have had their way with the bait. One hook may lose the fish or the bait — the second gives you a backup already in position, right where the predator is feeding.
