The Abu Garcia Max X range gives you a pre-spooled freshwater spinning reel with braided line, 4+1 bearings, and a light A-symmetric graphite frame and rotor. Across the line, you get an aluminium spool with Rocket Line Management system, an aluminium handle with a soft-touch knob, and instant anti-reverse.
These reels are built for anglers who want a simple setup that is ready to fish straight from the box. The graphite body keeps weight sensible, while the front drag and oil felt drag material give controlled pressure for everyday lure fishing.
Every variant uses a 5.2:1 gear ratio, a total of 5 bearings, and the same Max X platform. Each reel is pre-spooled with braided line and intended for freshwater use.
Choose 2000 or 2500 for lighter spinning and finer braid. Move to 3000 or 4000 when you want more drag and faster retrieve, with the 4000 giving the largest size in the line and the highest pickup at 78cm per turn.
