The 3500 holds 220 m of 0.25 mm monofilament versus 185 m on the 3000, while weighing 266 g rather than 261 g. Both have 6.4 kg maximum drag. Choose the 3500 for the extra capacity at that diameter, or the 3000 for the lowest reel weight in the line.
The 4000 increases maximum drag to 10 kg and holds 265 m of 0.25 mm monofilament. It retrieves 84 cm per turn compared with 69 cm on the 3500, so it takes up more line at the same handle pace. Its 303 g weight is 37 g higher than the 3500, the trade-off for the greater capacity and drag.
No size comes pre-spooled or with a spare spool. All have an Aluminum spool, capacities for both monofilament and braid, and a supplier-listed Left handle position. Buy your chosen line separately and check that the stated left-hand setup suits you.
The stated water type is freshwater, and the series is designed to cast large baits at large predators. The 3500 and 4000 also have explicit supplier recommendations for pike, zander and large perch. Although Salt Shield bearings are fitted, the evidence does not establish saltwater suitability, so do not choose it for sea fishing on that feature alone.

The Abu Garcia Beast Spinning Reel is designed for casting large baits at large freshwater predators. Its oversized Aluminum Duragear™ Gen III gear system provides cranking power, while the Power Stack Carbon Matrix Drag System™ controls resistance during the fight. The three sizes differ in weight, line capacity and maximum drag, so you can choose the balance of handling weight and spool capacity that suits your setup.
An X2-Cräftic™ alloy one-piece frame provides strength and durability around the gear system. The main shaft and components are stainless steel. Each reel has eight bearings: four stainless steel HPCR™ bearings, three Salt Shield bearings and one roller bearing. The Aluminum handle has oversized co-molded soft touch knobs for a comfortable grip when retrieving large baits.
The front drag uses Carbon Matrix material, with a maximum of 6.4 kg on the 3000 and 3500 or 10 kg on the 4000. Instant Anti-Reverse prevents backward handle movement. The supplier lists the handle position as Left for all three sizes.
Rocket Line Management™ supports line handling during casting, and Rocket Spool Lip Design™ is part of the Aluminum spool design. Both monofilament and braid capacities are specified below. The reels are supplied without line and without a spare spool, so choose and load your own line before use. The stated water type is freshwater. The 3000 is the lightest option for anglers who want less reel weight while retaining the same maximum drag as the 3500. The 3500 holds more 0.25 mm monofilament for only 5 g more weight, and retrieves 69 cm of line per handle turn. The 4000 provides the greatest stated capacity at 0.25 mm, higher maximum drag and 84 cm retrieve per turn, at the cost of 37 g more weight than the 3500. Compare capacities at the same line diameter, rather than treating values for different diameters as directly equivalent.
The 3500 and 4000 suppliers also identify pike, zander and large perch as intended targets. All three belong to the same large-bait freshwater predator series. Gear ratio is omitted because the primary supplier's description and specification fields disagree. A reliable retrieve figure for the 3000 is also unavailable because its supplied figures conflict.
