The line splits into a lighter pike model (2.38 m / 60–120 g), two balanced all-rounders (2.46 m / 110–220 g and 2.46 m / 150–300 g), a longer big bait rod (2.59 m / 120–250 g) and an ultra-heavy big bait version (2.59 m / 200–600 g). Choose the rod whose casting range centres on the weight of the baits you fish most.
The 2.46 m / 150–300 g version is the sweet spot. It handles 150 g baits comfortably and keeps reserve power for larger lures up to 300 g.
Yes — the 2.59 m / 200–600 g model delivers the casting power and backbone needed for the biggest pike and musky baits, and is also strong enough for medium-sized catfish lure fishing.
Pair with a low-profile baitcaster loaded with 50–80 lb braid for the heavier 120–250 g, 150–300 g and 200–600 g versions, and 30–50 lb braid for the 60–120 g and 110–220 g models. The FUJI reel seat accepts all common baitcasting reels.

Every Alpha SG6 Monster is built on a Japanese Torayca 30/40T carbon blank with a moderate-fast action. The blank is light yet extremely responsive, giving you the backbone to cast heavy baits, work them all day and drive a firm hookset into hard-jawed predators.
The rods are fitted with SeaGuide CCS stainless steel guides and SiN (silicon nitride) ring inserts that handle braided main lines without chafing. A FUJI reel seat keeps your baitcaster locked in place under full load.
A premium cork grip delivers all-day comfort and cold-weather warmth. Two-piece construction with transport lengths between 123 cm and 133 cm keeps the rods easy to carry.
