Use it for vertical fishing or twitch it on a shallow rig in shallow water. Both presentations are supported for pike and zander in freshwater, so choose your rig according to how you want to work the lure.
The 20 cm lure weighs 33 g and the 25 cm lure weighs 50 g. Both have the same construction and intended presentations. Choose the smaller, lighter version or the larger version to suit your desired lure size, then account for its weight in your tackle and rig choice.
No, both sizes are specified as sinking. The air-filled rear body helps the lure stand out on modern echo sounders, but it does not make this a floating lure. Plan your presentation around a sinking bait.
All colours have inside paint, UV activity, a large built-in glass rattle and an anise scent. The rattle adds sound during movement. Choose the colour you want without losing these shared features.
Each pack contains two lures in the selected size and colour. It is not a mixed-colour assortment, so select another colour or size separately if you want alternatives.

The Savage Gear Monster Slug is a softbait for large pike and zander in freshwater. Its air-filled rear body helps it stand out on modern echo sounders, a useful feature when following the lure during vertical fishing.
Rig the Monster Slug for vertical fishing, or use a shallow rig to twitch it in shallow water. Both sizes are specified as sinking despite the air-filled rear body. Choose the rig for the presentation you intend to fish rather than treating the lure as a floating bait.
The paint is inside the body. A large built-in glass rattle adds sound as the lure moves, while UV activity provides another visual feature. All variants have an anise scent.
The 20 cm version weighs 33 g, while the 25 cm version weighs 50 g. Choose 20 cm for a smaller, lighter lure or 25 cm for a larger presentation, taking the lure weight into account when selecting your tackle and rig. Both sizes support vertical fishing and shallow-rig twitching.
Each size comes in Motor Oil UV, Lemon Tiger, Green Smelt, Chartreuse, Pearl Apple, Perch, Pearl Shiner and White Fish. The construction and intended presentations are shared across these colours.
Each pack contains two Monster Slug softbaits in the selected size and colour.
