The original Monster Slug is back and better than ever, combining inside paint technology, an air-filled rear body, and a large built-in glass rattle to create a softbait that stands out on echo sounders and in catch rates alike.

Design and Construction

The Monster Slug features Savage Gear's inside paint technique, which produces a deep, lifelike colour from within the bait body. The air-filled rear section gives the slug a unique buoyancy profile and erratic movement on the drop, while the integrated glass rattle generates acoustic vibrations that draw predators from a distance.

Versatile Rigging

Rig the Monster Slug on a jighead for vertical fishing over deep structure, or mount it on a shallow rig for twitching presentations in the shallows. Its slug-style body produces a natural, undulating action that triggers strikes from wary fish.

UV-Active and Scented

All Monster Slug variants are UV-active for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions and murky water. An anise scent is built into the material, giving predators an extra reason to hold on after the initial strike.

Available Sizes

The Monster Slug is available in two sizes: 20 cm (33 g) for targeting zander and medium pike, and 25 cm (50 g) for trophy pike. Each pack contains 2 softbaits in the selected colour. Lead-free construction on applicable models.
