The Savage Gear Fury SG6 Inline Boat is a purpose-built saltwater rod series designed for demanding boat fishing in rough Nordic waters, targeting big predators like cod, coalfish, and halibut.
All models in the Fury SG6 Inline Boat range feature Japanese Torayca carbon blanks that deliver exceptional strength and durability. The moderate-fast action allows anglers to handle extra-heavy lures while maintaining enough backbone to pump large fish from deep water.
The inline guide system sets these rods apart from conventional boat rods. With no external guides that can snag line or become damaged, tangles are effectively eliminated and the full blank curve can be utilised for maximum power transfer. The system uses a metal line-thread for reliable performance in harsh saltwater conditions.
Fuji reel seats ensure secure reel mounting, while premium cork handles provide a comfortable, non-slip grip even in wet conditions on deck. Each rod comes with a velvet rod bag for safe transport and storage.
The series is available in three power classes to cover a wide range of saltwater boat fishing scenarios: 100–250 g (Heavy), 150–400 g (Extra Heavy), and 200–600 g (Extra Extra Heavy). All models share a compact 213 cm length and 2-piece design with a detachable handle for convenient transport at 149 cm.
