The 16.5 cm version weighs 48 g, runs at 0.5–1.5 m and has two size #1 trebles. The 20 cm version weighs 87 g, runs at 0.5–2 m and has two size #1/0 trebles. Choose between a smaller, lighter presentation and a larger lure with a deeper stated range, checking that your tackle suits the lure weight.
The paddle tail gives a lively kicking action, while the mini curl tail gives a gliding action. Both are supplied, and the Cross jaw lock tail system secures them while allowing quick changes. You can therefore change the movement pattern without replacing the lure body.
Yes. Two attachment points allow shallow and medium-depth presentations, and mounting the tail upwards or downwards changes depth and movement. The stated ranges are 0.5–1.5 m for 16.5 cm and 0.5–2 m for 20 cm, so select the size as well as the attachment point for your intended depth.
You receive one lure in the selected size and colour, with two SGY 1X BN treble hooks, plus a paddle tail and a mini curl tail. It is a single lure with two tail options, not an assortment of lure bodies or colours.
It is designed for freshwater pike fishing from very shallow to medium depths. The long cast system makes it useful for searching an area, while the built-in rattle adds sound. Select the 16.5 cm or 20 cm version according to the presentation size, lure weight and stated depth range you need.

The Savage Gear Deviator Tail SS is a slow-sinking hybrid tail bait for freshwater pike fishing. Built on the Deviator frame, it combines a hard body with interchangeable rubber tails. The paddle tail produces a lively kicking action, while the mini curl tail gives a gliding action. Two line attachment points let you cover very shallow to medium depths without switching to another lure.
The Cross jaw lock tail system holds the tail securely and allows quick changes of tail or tail orientation. Mounting the tail upwards or downwards changes the running depth and movement pattern. Together with the two attachment points, this lets you vary the presentation as you search for pike. Both a paddle tail and a mini curl tail are supplied.
The 16.5 cm version weighs 48 g and has a stated running depth of 0.5–1.5 m. It carries two SGY 1X BN treble hooks in size #1. Choose it for the smaller, lighter presentation and the shallower depth range.
The 20 cm version weighs 87 g and runs at 0.5–2 m. Its two SGY 1X BN treble hooks are size #1/0. It offers a larger presentation and a deeper stated range, but requires tackle suited to the higher lure weight. Both sizes sink slowly.
The long cast system supports casting to search a wider area. A built-in rattle adds sound to the presentation, and photo-printed details provide visual detail. Both sizes are available in Golden Ambulance, Chrome Perch, Bream, Pike, Firetiger, Blue Chrome, Clear Herring, Dirty Roach Glitter, Red Tiger, Albino Trout, Copper Carp, Ghost Bone, Tench and Toxic Roach. Colour is the difference between variants of the same size, with the same stated weight, depth range and hook size.
The Golden Ambulance, Chrome Perch, Bream, Pike, Firetiger, Blue Chrome, Clear Herring and Dirty Roach Glitter variants are specified as containing no lead.
Each pack contains one lure in the selected size and colour, equipped with two SGY 1X BN treble hooks, plus the two interchangeable tail types. The supplied tails let you choose kicking or gliding action from the same body.
