FAT TAIL SPIN 5.5CM 9G S DIRTY SILVER
incl. VAT, excl.
The Savage Gear Fat Tail Spin is a highly versatile blade bait that combines long-distance casting with a deadly combination of vibration and flash. Its tail blade rotates immediately on contact with water, triggering reaction strikes from perch, asp, trout, pike and bass.
This lure works in two phases: the blade spins and flashes as the lure sinks on a tight line, and continues its vibrating action during the retrieve. Vary your retrieve speed and pause occasionally to let it fall — strikes often come as the lure drops through the water column. The dual action makes it a reliable search bait for covering water quickly.
The tail blade begins rotating the moment it hits the water, creating vibration and light reflection that predators detect from a distance. The compact 5.5 cm body combined with the 9 g weight delivers excellent casting distance, allowing you to reach distant lies and structure. The sinking design gets down to the 1–2 m zone where many freshwater species feed.
The Fat Tail Spin series is available in three sizes to match different conditions and target species:
5.5 cm / 9 g (this model) — perch, trout, small pike, bass; runs 1–2 m deep; equipped with SGY 1X BN treble hook #10; ideal for rivers, canals and shallow lakes
6.5 cm / 16 g — larger perch, asp, trout, pike; runs 2–4 m deep; equipped with SGY 1X BN treble hook #8; suited for medium-depth water and stronger current
8 cm / 24 g — pike, asp, large perch, zander; runs 2–6 m deep; equipped with SGY 1X BN treble hook #6 (some variants with single hook); includes built-in rattle for extra attraction; best for deep water and large predators
