Precision-Built for Smooth, Reliable Power

The BB1 Pro's hard-anodized aluminum alloy Speed Gears, machined on Hamai CNC equipment, mesh with the P2 Super Pinion bearing-supported pinion gear for fluid, low-wear cranking. Ten stainless steel double-shielded bearings — including a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing — keep the retrieve exceptionally smooth and corrosion-resistant cast after cast.

Total Casting Control with QuietCast ACB

The 6-pin QuietCast Externally Adjustable Centrifugal Brake (ACB) lets you dial in braking force from outside the reel to match lure weight and wind conditions without opening the sideplate. The dual-stage titanium-coated zirconia line guide sits farther from the spool than a standard guide, reducing line friction at the exit point for longer, cleaner casts. The braid-ready anodized aluminum 35 mm U-shaped spool handles 160 yd of 12 lb mono or 50 lb braid.
