At the heart of the BB1 Pro are hard-anodized aluminum alloy Speed Gears precision-machined on Hamai CNC equipment, paired with a P2 Super Pinion bearing-supported pinion gear. The full 10-bearing system — with stainless steel double-shielded bearings and a Zero Reverse one-way clutch bearing — delivers noticeably smooth retrieval and strong corrosion resistance over the long term.

Effortless Casting Control

The QuietCast externally Adjustable Centrifugal Brake (ACB) system uses 6 pins to let you dial in brake force precisely to match your lure weight and conditions — without opening the sideplate. The dual-stage titanium-coated zirconia line guide is positioned away from the spool to reduce line friction on every cast. The anodized aluminum 35mm U-shaped spool is braid-ready, holding 160 yd of 12 lb mono or 50 lb braid.
