The Predax Sprengringe (split rings) XL in 9 mm and 40 kg breaking strength are built for demanding applications where a standard split ring simply isn't enough — from big trolling lures to offshore assist hook rigs.
Unlike round-wire split rings, these are made from flat steel, which gives the ring a wider bearing surface and superior spring-back. Opening the ring to attach a hook or lure eye is straightforward, yet the ring snaps back to a fully closed position after mounting — reducing the risk of unintended hook or connector release during the fight.
At 9 mm diameter and 40 kg rated strength, the XL ring handles heavy-duty work with confidence. Use them to connect large trebles to hard swimbaits, link stinger hooks to soft paddle tails, or rig assist hooks for saltwater bottom fishing and jigging. The flat steel construction keeps the connection compact and avoids unnecessary bulk on the lure.
Predax Sprengringe are available in six sizes to match lure size, target species, and rig strength requirements. Each pack count reflects ring size — larger rings come in smaller packs.
