The Strike King Caffeine Shad is a 12.5 cm (approx. 5 in) soft bait engineered to stay in the strike zone longer and give predators every reason to hold on. This pack contains 8 baits in Green Pumpkin Sapphire.
The hollow, air-filled bubble tail gives the Caffeine Shad its signature slow-sinking action. As the lure descends, the buoyant tail rises and flutters, mimicking a distressed baitfish and drawing the eye of nearby predators — even at depth or in low-light conditions.
Caffeinated by design: the bait is infused with a coffee scent that masks human odour and a high-salt compound that encourages predators — particularly zander and perch — to hold the lure after the strike. That extra split-second is often all it takes to set the hook, even when your attention drifts.
All variants share the same 12.5 cm length, slow-sinking action, and 8-piece count. Choose your colour based on water clarity and target species:
