The Spro Softbait Zander Stinger is a purpose-built stinger (trailing hook) rig designed for spinning with soft-bait lures after zander. This size 8 variant ships with a 6 cm wire trace and comes in a pack of two, ready to rig straight out of the packet.

Steel Trace That Handles Both Zander and Pike

The stinger trace is built from 7×7 stranded steel wire rated to 9 kg (20 lbs), giving it the flexibility needed to sit naturally in the flank of a soft-bait while still being resistant to the sharp teeth of any pike that takes an interest. The loop at the head of the trace slips cleanly over the eye of a jig head, and a supplied rubber stopper locks the loop in place so it cannot work free during the retrieve or the fight.
